The Bakio collection is a tribute to the vineyards of Spain’s Basque region, which the artists at Hazorfim have a deep connection to. Beautiful mountain ranges and calm soothing waters create the backdrop to the vineyards of the Bakio Valley. This 11 arm silver candelabra is part of a full collection of Judaica silver pieces such as candelabras, candlesticks and menorahs at hazorfim.
This 11 branch sterling silver candelabra is mostly square shaped, but has rounded edges that create an almost hexagonal shape, and the entire silver candelabra centerpiece, aside for the branches, is covered in intricate pretty engravings, which feature grape leaves and vine shapes, unique to the Bakio collection. The cup holders are also adorned with these beautiful engravings and the smooth shiny branches hold it all together.
The entire 11 tier candelabra is 55.5 cm high and stands on four silver feet, each tempered, twisted, pulled and shaped to perfection. We do see strong elements of Baroque and gothic art as there are many styles combines and tastefully blended to produce a piece of art that pulls the eyes and demands attention.
Add this 11 arm silver candelabra, count each of the family members in and keep this piece as a family heirloom for generations.
The inspiration for this unique collection followed a visit by Hazorfim’s artists to the city of Bakio in Spain’s Basque region. Bakio is home to a mesmerizing mix of styles which inspired our stunning new range of silver art. The foundation of the pieces in the collection is Gothic-style, which boasts additional Baroque-style decorations. Further elegance comes from skillfully sculpted silver tendrils which intertwine and are carefully added by hand.
