Popular among our Judaica silver pieces, this 8 branch silver candelabra is a masterpiece. Inspired by the city Bakio in Spain, the artists at Hazorfim combined Baroque and gothic styles, in addition to detailed designs added by hand, which resulted in this elegant sterling silver collection. Aside for the branches, the entire piece is covered in gothic style very detailed almost lace-like tiny carvings.
Standing proudly like a queen, the middle cup holder is taller than the rest, at 46.5 cm high. The base is square with a raised dais which curves up into the trunk that is more rounded and then the candelabra assumes a squarer shape as it branches out in 7 different direction to the cup holders. The square shaped cup holders, just like the base and trunk, are graced with beautiful engravings throughout and some glossy paneling, which just accentuates the masterly skill Hazorfim is always proud to present.
Pair this 8 branch silver candelabra with some tall Shabbat candles or decorated glass cups and bring in Shabbat with dignity
The inspiration for this unique collection followed a visit by Hazorfim’s artists to the city of Bakio in Spain’s Basque region. Bakio is home to a mesmerizing mix of styles which inspired our stunning new range of silver art. The foundation of the pieces in the collection is Gothic-style, which boasts additional Baroque-style decorations. Further elegance comes from skillfully sculpted silver tendrils which intertwine and are carefully added by hand. The Bakio Collection is an optimistic tribute to the beautiful vineyards of the Bakio Valley.
