For the commandment is a lamp, and the Torah is light (Proverbs 6:23)It all began here. Jews from all over the world come to the Hazorfim workshop in Hevel Modi’in- the location where the Hasmonean rebellion broke out. They come here to choose the piece which will light up their window; a hanukiah from the House of Hazorfim- available in dozens of styles and sizes, each elegant and handmade from the finest sterling silver. The Bari Small Decorated Hanukiah was inspired by the landscapes of Bari, an enchanting Italian town. Hazorfim’s master silversmiths were particularly impressed with the straight streets, spilling out into the Adriatic Sea. The hanukiah is characterized by straight lines which are both sleek and gleaming and mirror each other in perfect symmetry. The decorations which adorn the base integrate seamlessly with the silver embellishments that reach to the candle nests- creating a harmony between the commandment and lamp.
The Bari Collection is inspired by views of the Italian town of Bari which rests on the shores of the Adriatic Sea. The city itself is known for its straight streets which spill into the seashore and the local port. The design of the pieces in the Bari Collection is inspired by these streets that descend from the hills, featuring sculpted straight lines which extend from the base.
The decorations are hand-sculpted by Hazorfim’s skilled silversmiths achieving a look of perfection and harmony. The handiwork results in an impressive collection boasting a smooth, sleek and symmetrical look.
