Details

This beautiful 9 arm sterling silver candelabra has been handcrafted by Hazorfim’s finest silversmiths. They produced this majestic piece of art with their unbounded imagination and nimble hands.

Thanks to its versatility and panache, this Judaica silver piece is suitable for display at royal events and simple family reunions.

The Ben Yehuda collection was inspired by the late Joseph Merdinger, founder of Hazorfim. He escaped the war with his crafting tools, his perseverance and his dreams.

Modelled on the Baroque style of art that combines asymmetry and scrolling arcs, this magnificent 9 candle candelabra gives an illusion of motion and drama. Crescent-shaped curves, twirling vines, counter-curves and figurines decorate this Judaica silver piece from the stem to the candle arms.

The nine branches, statuesque and arched, hold up their candle cups with pride. They resemble a choir, with a slightly raised middle cup, orchestrating the circle of song. The elegant capitals on this 9-arm candelabra, have drip trays to catch wayward wax from trickling down. A truly magnificent piece of artwork!

A perfect wedding gift for a couple who are dear to your heart!

The Ben-Yehuda Collection is the first designed by the late Joseph Merdinger for Hazorfim and is influenced by the baroque-style typical of Austro-Hungarian Jews. Merdinger escaped Europe before the war, carrying only a suitcase containing his silversmith’s tools and his vision for "Hazorfim"- a company to revive the tradition of Jewish jewelry making and the traditional skills of hand-made silver art in the Land of Israel.

The elegant pieces which make-up the Ben-Yehuda Collection, are Joseph’s interpretation of classic imperial designs made famous by Jewish silversmiths from northern Europe.
