“The light of the righteous will rejoice” (Proverbs 13:9)
It all began here. Jews from all over the world come to the Hazorfim workshop in Hevel Modi’in- the location where the Hasmonean rebellion broke out. They come here to choose the piece which will light up their window; a hanukiah from the House of Hazorfim- available in dozens of styles and sizes, each elegant and handmade from the finest sterling silver. The Bagatelle Large Chabad Hanukiah is characterized by its bright, glimmering and polished look- like a prestigious diamond. To achieve this look, Hazorfim’s artists had to overcome the soft nature of the silver metal. The finished result is a piece with sharp, shiny edges. The branches of the Bagatelle Large Chabad Hanukiah are diagonally tilted, spreading their light outwards, like the hundreds of thousands of Chabad Chassidim around the world.
Bagatel is a type of luxury diamond that is incredibly difficult to polish. This diamond inspired Hazorfim’s artists when they created the Bagatel Collection, resulting in silver artworks that share a sparkling, clean and polished appearance.
To maintain the brilliance and finish of a diamond when working with silver, Hazorfim’s artists had to overcome the soft nature of the metal, creating pieces with sharp and brilliant sides. Each piece in the Bagatel Collection is a complex arrangement of many parts, requiring time, knowledge and expertise- just like working with quality diamonds.
