“Pure olive oil, pressed for illumination” (Exodus 27:20)
It all began here. Jews from all over the world come to the Hazorfim workshop in Hevel Modi’in- the location where the Hasmonean rebellion broke out. They come here to choose the piece which will light up their window; a hanukiah from the House of Hazorfim- available in dozens of styles and sizes, each elegant and handmade from the finest sterling silver. The Bellagio Decorated Masada Hanukiah is named after the ancient Italian village of Bellagio, which is situated on the shores of the famous Lake Como. Hazorfim’s expert silversmiths were enchanted the mountains which reflect in the lake’s clear waters and inspired by the Lombard aristocracy’s houses which characterize the village. The result is an elegant work of art; the perfect combination of smooth, sleek silver adorned with eye-catching decorations.
Pieces from the Bellagio Collection are handcrafted from pure silver using traditional hand-craft techniques. The collection gets its name from the ancient Italian village of Bellagio, on the shores of Lake Como. The collection draws its inspiration from the beautiful scenery surrounding the lake; the mountains reflected in the water and the estates built by Lombard aristocrats which surround it. Each pure silver piece in the Bellagio Collection is enlivened with delicate hand-crafted decorations.
